The season opener kicked off just outside of Seattle at the Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA. The track was laid out with 70% road, and 30% dirt which made for a challenging course. The excessive amount of debris and dirt being dragged onto the pavement kept the riders on their toes throughout the weekend.

May 29, 2008 - Misano Adriatico, Italy - Alessandro Polita started from the seventh position on the grid and won the Misano race of World Superstock Championship on his Dynojet Power Commander equipped Ducati 1098, moving him up from sixth to third position on the overall standings for the season. Team Sterilgarda has chosen the Power Commander for their Superstock Ducati 1098 just as almost every other Ducati equipped Superstock team. Factory team Ducati Xerox Junior has won the 2007 World Superstock 1000 title with a Ducati 1098 equipped with Dynojet Power Commander, Quick Shifter and Dynojet Ignition Quick Shifter Module.

[1-2 Finish for Team WCR Bike Service in Vallelunga]

May 25, 2008 - Vallelunga, Rome, Italy - Danilo Marrancone and Alessandro Brannetti provided Team WCR Bike Service with a 1-2 podium finish at Vallelunga on their Dynojet Power Commander, Ignition Module and Quick Shifter equipped Yamaha R6's. The victory gave Marrancone a 25 point championship lead with three races remaining. Brannetti's second place finish brought young team manager Stefano Morri to tears. Brannetti climbed three places in the championship standings, from 10th to 7th with this podium finish. Both riders will continue the series with the World Supersport races in June and September at Misano, concluding in October at Mugello.

June 15, 2008 - Brandon Roberts, Team Ducati Xerox Junior, won pole position and the Nürburgring race for the SBK World Championship Superstock 1000 on his Dynojet Power Commander and Quickshifter equipped Ducati 1098R. Roberts now holds second overall position in the championship standing with his second win of the season, trailing by 10 points with six races to go.

June 1, 2008 – Martin Bauer continues his 2008 domination as he rode to victory again in both International German Superbike Championship races on his Power Commander, Ignition Module and Multi-Function Hub accessory equipped Honda CBR 1000RR. Bauer’s victories on the Nürburgring, following his wins at Oschersleben and Lausitzring for the Holzhauer Racing Promotion team increased his Championship point standings to 56 points above second place.
Holzhauer Racing Promotion is owned by Holzhauer Honda, an Authorized Power Commander Tuning Center in Wittenberge, Germany.

With the World Superbike circus, fans and media watching, Jake Holden rode a strong SuperStock race to put his Dynojet sponsored Corona Extra Honda CBR1000RR on the box at Miller Motorsports Park this past weekend. Teammate Matt Lynn had a weekend to forget, falling in both SuperBike races but being able to finish the second after frantic pit repairs by his crew got him back out.

[Dunlop commissions Graves Motorsports Yamaha FZ1 to be auctioned for Doug Henry benefit]

San Bernardino, CA: Dunlop Motorcycle Tires is proud to announce the creation of a one-off custom Yamaha FZ1 created by well-known racing entity Graves Motorsports that will be auctioned off for the benefit of Doug Henry. A multi-time national motocross champion, Henry suffered an injury during a Supermoto race in 2007, and is now fighting back to overcome partial paralysis from the waist down.
Also aiding Henry in this fight is the Road 2 Recovery Foundation. This custom Graves Yamaha FZ1, fitted with Dunlop’s new Roadsmart sport-touring tires, will be auctioned off later this year, following the Summer X Games.

Tode finished on the podium in both races with a second place finish in the first race and the win in the second race on his Dynojet Power Commander, Quick Shifter and Multi-Function Hub equipped Triumph Daytona 675. The victories allowed Tode to extend his lead in the overall Championship standings to 30 points.

Attack Kawasaki's Steve Rapp used his great start to also finish on the podium in the AMA Formula Xtreme race.

Sonoma, Calif. (May 18, 2008) – Dynojet sponsored racers had another successful weekend in the AMA with all three podium finishers at Infineon Raceway in the Supersport Series race: Ben Bostrom of Graves Yamaha on his YZF-R6 in first, Jake Zemke of Erion Honda on his CBR600RR in second, and Danny Eslick of Matsushima Suzuki on his GSX-R600 in third. Bostrom also earned extra points for pole position and laps to extend his lead in the season point standings.
In Formula Xtreme, there was another Dynojet sponsored sweep as Zemke won the race on his CBR600RR. Teammate Josh Hayes captured second on his CBR600RR, while Steve Rapp of Attack Kawasaki placed third on his ZX-6R. Zemke gained extra points for pole position and laps also and leads the season point standings.
In the Superstock Series race, Jake Holden of Corona Extra/Honda came through on his Dynojet sponsored CBR1000RR, beating Michael Jordan’s team to the finish line.
