Great Results with PowerCommander V , the BMW G450X with LeoVince X3

Comparing dyno runs of the stock G450X exhaust canister with the LeoVince X3 slip-on. Then tuning a PowerCommander V to optimize the fueling and compare it to the previous two results.
The G450X is an extraordinary motorcycle. Having moved on from my first F650GS, to an R1150GS, then a HP2, followed by the F800GS, my bikes have always been on the other side of 200kg. Compared to my previous bikes, the first ride on the G450X felt like a mountain bike - with a throttle!

Stuart Sinclair Wins at Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb 450 Supermoto
Date: 7/27/2009 12:00:00 AM
July 19, 2009 – Sisneros Speed Works rider Stuart Sinclair rode his Dynojet Power Commander V and Autotune equipped 2009 Honda CRF 450 to a victory in the Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb 450 Supermoto class with a time of 12:16.
The course is 12.42 miles of pavement and gravel with 156 turns that begin at 9,390 feet and finishes at 14,110 feet. Less than one mile of the entire course is downgrade. As the air thins on the climb, engines can lose 30% of their power at the summit. The Dynojet Autotune helps minimize that loss by automatically adjusting the air/fuel mixture signal the Power Commander V sends to accommodate for the thinner air.
“The bike ran flawlessy and continues to shock us what a weapon it is as a supermoto bike.” – Eddie Sisneros

When fuel injection first came to Harleys, a lot of old-school riders and tuners were dead-set against it. Needles and jets and slides had been good enough for most of the century, they said, and there was no way they were going to let a computer tell them what to do.
Today, of course, everyone knows there’s no better or easier way to tune fuel injected bikes than with a Power commander-just downloads a map from Dynojet’s website or take the bike to a Dynojet Tuning Center for a ride on the rolling dyno. And the job is done.
